Quarter Note and Eighth Notes Blueprint Download

Looking for a fun way to develop the rhythmic concept of quarter and eighth notes? These five lesson plans are sequentially developed and include 10 singing games, a link to one orchestral piece, multiple extensions to expand on song material, and culminate in a formal summative assessment.  

Multiple learning modalities are included to prepare and practice these rhythmic concepts. Use the materials as presented or pull individual activities to create a “plug and play” bank of activities to review quarter and eighth notes all year long.
