Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain Blueprint Download

Simplify your planning pre-made visuals!  The Kapiti Plain blueprint works seamlessly with the lesson sketch Kapiti Plain.  

Students improvise on recorders using BAGED and then add their compositions to a soundscape accompanying the book Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain by Verna Aardema. We have included two recorder card decks, one with just the notes and a second with a diagram of the fingerings along with the notes. Between the two decks, you have 72 cards for students to use in their compositions.  

Students can use the worksheet to assist their composition process and provide tangible evidence for parents and administrators.
