Based on instruments from ancient Japan, the Basic Beat kokoriko features wood slats that are securely connected by a leather strap and a handle at each end. When holding the handles and moving the hands up and down in an alternating pattern, a crisp wood “domino effect” sound is produced. Fun to listen to, and easy to play!
