Theresa Cocci

Hi, my name is Theresa Cocci and I currently teach Early Childhood Music in Reading, PA. I have over thirty years teaching experience in the classroom and instruct private piano. Recently, I have authored a children’s picture book, entitled, “Henry the Hungry Hound.” 

Having earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, I have also completed my Orff Schulwerk Certification from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Additional graduate course work includes studies in Early Childhood Music with Dr. John Feierabend, at West Chester University and Peter and Mary Alice Amidon at the University of Hartford.  

My professional affiliations include active membership in AOSA, Music Teachers National Association and a member of the Society of Book Writers and Illustrators. Over the years, I have provided in-service workshops for early childhood classroom instructors for the Pennsylvania Quality Assurance System or PQAS.
