Steve Johnson, Jr.

Steve Johnson Jr. is a music educator, composer and performer. He holds a B.S in Music Education from Rhode Island College, a Master’s of Music Education from the University of Rhode Island and Orff level I certification. He has been teaching general music for 15 years in public and private school settings. He serves on the Rhode Island Music Educator’s General Music Committee, contributing expertise on the National Core Arts Standards. 
 
Steve is a multi-instrumentalist performing throughout Rhode Island. He has contributed to many groups including The Side Effects, The Jesse Liam Band, The Nightlife Orchestra and The Rockin’ Soul Horns. He is currently working on an original collection of children’s songs as well as writing a music analysis blog ().  Steve also posts original music education related content on his YouTube Channel.
