Leah Wanner

Leah Wanner is a general music teacher at Summit View Elementary in Waukesha, WI. Summit View is a K-5 magnet school specializing in Integrated Arts, Design, and Creativity. She has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and a Master of Arts in Education from Mount Mary College. In addition to 24 years of teaching experience, Leah has also completed Orff Levels I & II. She loves to include children’s literature, humor, puppets, and games into my teaching practice, which is ever evolving. (She’s never taught the same exact way two years in a row!).

When she’s not teaching, Leah enjoys hiking, kayaking, podcasts, songwriting, cooking, reading, watching her kids play sports, walking her dog, and writing.
