Kati Shelton

Kati Shelton is currently an elementary music teacher for preschool through second-grade students at Eldon South Elementary School in Eldon, Missouri. She has been teaching for 4 years and is passionate about instilling a love of music in her young students that can be carried on into their futures. Kati graduated with her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Southwest Baptist University in 2017. She completed her Master of Science in Education/Curriculum and Instruction in 2021 from Southwest Baptist University. Kati was certified in First Steps in Music at Belmont University with Dr. John Feierabend in 2019. She has gone on to finish Level I of Kodály training through Midwestern State University and has grown to love the Kodály approach to music education. She is always looking for new ideas and ways to grow and become a better elementary music teacher.
