Kate Philp

Kate Philp has 16 years of experience teaching General Music, Choir, and Beginning Band in grades PreK-12. Kate Philp currently teaches in the Bloomfield Hills School District in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.  Kate holds degrees in Music Education and Theatre in Community. She is passionate about watching all students grow as musicians. 

Besides her teaching responsibilities, Kate serves as the Music Director for the Village Youth Theatre in Birmingham, Michigan. She loves to read and spend time with her family and pets.
