Julia Rennick

Julia was a finalist for ARIA Music Teacher of the Year 2019. Emma Watkins (former Yellow Wiggle) was her Ambassador. For an overview, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PwWMOfK-SPQ

She was a peripatetic music teacher in pre-schools, schools, and the community for almost 30 years and mentored with Richard Gill’s National Music Teachers’ Mentoring Program from 2016 to 2021. She was a member of the Orff NSW Committee and a professional development trainer for Musica Viva and NESA. During COVID, Julia developed an online program (Jingle, Jazz, and Julia) to increase access to early childhood music. Always passionate about music education at any age, widening participation, and championing the developmental benefits of music and the arts, Julia is presently working for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. As she retires from music teaching and education, she is moving towards sharing free, music-related content for grown-ups and their children on her YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/@jinglejazzjulia
