Arturo Treviño Jr.

My name is Arturo Trevino Jr. I am an elementary music educator with seven years of teaching experience. I am working on my master’s in music in ethnomusicology. Working as a professional educator and looking into scholarship has really given me a unique spin on the field. I am starting my thesis research in the fall. I have level 1 knowledge of Kodaly and Orff.  
 
I serve as a leader at my campus, I’ve assisted as a grant writer-editor, and have had some grants approved for my classroom through Donors Choose. I’ve also had several creative works published in connection to my LatinX/ChicanX roots as a Mexican American outside of my discipline in music.
