Jessica Lawdan

Hi! My name is Jessica Lawdan, and I’ve worked in the General Music world for 10 years now. I’ve built programs from scratch numerous times and often enter a school where the ‘musical culture’ leaves much to be desired in terms of student engagement. I have had my programs and students featured on Denver 9News, Colorado Public Radio, and won the D128 Alumni Achievement Award in 2021. Most of my work consists of creating new curriculum based on Orff and Kodaly but also heavily influenced by Music Will, which allows me to creatively use my students’ interests as the basis of my lessons.
